Reach Rehab Physio Team

At Reach Rehab we are big enough to cope and small enough to care. We are a team of highly specialist independent physiotherapist and physiotherapy technical instructors. We cover a range of different specialisms and our physios each bring their own experience, expertise and skill sets. Please find below further information about our lead physio and physio technical instructor.

Lisa Clapp – Lead Physiotherapist

BSc Hons Physiotherapy

Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Indemnity Insured

Enhanced DBS Checked

Adult and Child CPR Certification

Safeguarding Certification

Having graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1996 with a degree in Physiotherapy, Lisa gained knowledge in all areas of Physiotherapy whilst working in both NHS and private hospitals.  This included rheumatology, hydrotherapy, orthopaedics, neurology and respiratory physiotherapy to name but a few.  With a special interest in paediatric neurology, Lisa focused on this area of therapy from 2001 undertaking many post graduate courses to further expand her knowledge and skills in this area.  Work was initially within a busy inner-city NHS Child-development centre.  She then branched out and worked privately along side her NHS work, working with both adults and children with neurological conditions.  Lisa now works fully independently, enabling Reach Rehab to offer the holistic and flexible approach it does.

Barbara O’Sullivan – Lead Physiotherapy Technical Instructor

20 Years Experience

BTEC Physiotherapy Technical Instructor

Barbara is a specialist Physiotherapy Technical Instructor who has worked with adults and children with complex neurological conditions for over 20 years.  Barbara has had additional specific training to fulfil this role.  After an initial assessment and plan has been implemented by the qualified physiotherapist, Barbara is able to work independently of a qualified physiotherapist. This can offer more cost effective rehabilitation when long term physiotherapy is required for complex conditions.
