Costs for Initial assessments vary. They are based on a 1 hour assessment. These involve a detailed history and alot of clinical documentation as well as a physical assessment.
Some more complex conditions, require a longer time slot or may need to be conducted over 2 visits. This will be charged pro-rata.
For travel over 4 miles from clinicians base (8 miles return): there is an additional charge made per mile to cover both travel time and fuel costs.
Here at Reach Rehab Physiotherapy we have a varied price structure that caters for our range of clients. One size does not fit all.
These costs vary for many reasons, including:
- Travel distance,
- travel time,
- type of physiotherapy input,
- length of appointment required,
- administrative requirements eg, reports / complexity of management plan,
- set prices by medical insurance companies,
- medico-legal work,
- charity payment,
- input by qualified Physiotherapist or Physiotherapy Technical Instructor.
There will be additional charges if there is further administrative work required to assist with the treatment. This includes but is not limited to: research into equipment, written referrals, written exercise programmes.

Payment can be made by bank transfer, using an on-line card payment link, or card payment over the phone.
Payment is required 24 hours before a new assessment for self funding clients. After this we usually invoice monthly.
All medico-legal, charity and medical insurance work is invoiced on a monthly basis.
